Stadium solution can work for everyone

Dunedin based Green Party MP Metiria Turei says that a new stadium is not the best solution for Dunedin’s sporting or social needs.

“There is no doubt that Dunedin’s community is passionate about their sports. There is an obvious need for a premier sporting venue, but it has not been established that a new stadium is wanted or beneficial to the Dunedin community.”

Shane has had a varied working life, from working in fast food restaurants to being a maitre'd in one of Scotland's top restaurants, as a stagehand to organising the first drama festival for Ireland's technical colleges, as an English teacher to working at the Scots National Dictionary, as a web developer to analysing the speech patterns in English and Scots Gaelic. Currently Shane works at Otago university and owns Ali McD Model Agency with his business partner Aliana McDaniel.


Act Green, Think Green, Vote Green

Too often those who vote Green keep it to themselves, as if their vote is some precious jewel that if put on public display will be stolen or fade when exposed to sunlight. No, my friends, a Party Vote for the Greens is a precious seed. And like any seed it needs to be nurtured with friends and love, exposed to the elements, to rain and sunlight, to be allowed to grow so that everyone can see it, rejoice in it and reap its fruits! So go forth, spread those seeds around, tell everyone you know that you choose change!
